Nokia launches NetAct (TM) Optimizer for enhancing the performance of multi-technology radio-access networks

Nokia today launched a new, versatile network optimization tool that provides powerful means to analyze and optimize performance on a network-wide basis in joint GSM and WCDMA networks. The flexible Nokia NetAct(TM) Optimizer analyzes the network performance and displays the results on a geographical map, as well as proposes configuration changes to enable the operator to achieve its performance targets. By solving performance and capacity problems and allowing the operator to focus on other tasks, the Nokia NetAct(TM) Optimizer speeds the network optimization process and increases the level of automation.
Concrete benefits of this tool include: improved operational efficiency through algorithm-based analysis and automated data transfer, enhanced capabilities for carrying more traffic and subscribers, increased customer satisfaction due to maximize service performance and effective use of personnel, thanks to fast automated optimization processes.
