Nokia offers its first digital terrestrial receiver for the Finnish market

Nokia Mediamaster 9828 T provides easy access to digital television

(Helsinki, August 30, 2001) Nokia will offer its first digital terrestrial model for the Finnish market -- the Nokia Mediamaster 9828 T -- by Christmas 2001.

The Nokia Mediamaster 9828 T is an easy-to-use, digital terrestrial receiver. With the Nokia Mediamaster 9828 T Finnish consumers can enjoy the new digital TV and radio channels included in the terrestrial network as well as excellent picture and sound quality. The Nokia Mediamaster 9828 T can be connected to all television sets and is designed to provide basic digital television services according to Digital Video Broadcast Terrestrial (DVB-T) standards.
