According to information received by Nokia Corporation, the holdings of Janus Capital Corporation have exceeded 5% of the total voting rights and share capital of Nokia.
Janus Capital Corporation is an investment adviser registered under the US Investment Advisers Act of 1940. As of December 7, 1999 Janus Capital Corporation holds through its clients the total of 79,303,618 Nokia shares consisting of both ADRs and ordinary shares. The holdings of Janus Capital Corporation corresponds to 6.53% of the total voting rights and share capital of Nokia.
