Funding to fuel expansion for pioneer in e-research and web-based customer feedback
SAN FRANCISCO - InformativeTM Inc., the leading provider of Web-based, real-time information solutions, today announced that it has received venture funding from Nokia Ventures. Informative will use the funds to expand its product offerings and advance its mission of making customer feedback available globally to businesses of all sizes.
"We're very pleased to have Informative in our portfolio of investments. Their great team, robust technology, and extensive list of blue chip clients establish Informative as the leader in their market," noted W. Peter Buhl, general partner for Nokia Ventures. "Informative will lead the way in enabling businesses to receive and access real time customer feedback from any Internet connected device."
Self-funded since its founding in 1996, Informative is one of the first companies to offer hosted real-time online research and customer feedback capabilities to businesses worldwide. Early clients include Nortel Networks, Cisco Systems and Adobe. Today, Informative's automated measurement tools are used by some of the Web's largest brands to profile customers, track online shopping transaction satisfaction, and measure advertising effectiveness, in addition to other custom e-research. Informative's client roster grew fourfold last year and includes Amazon.com, Inktomi, NextCard, Microsoft, Organic Online and Wells Fargo Bank amongst its nearly two hundred client companies.
"Nokia Ventures brings tremendous operational experience and a vast network of contacts and resources to Informative," said Paul Mann, president and CEO of Informative. "They'll be an excellent partner as we aggressively embark on new distribution channels and Internet platforms and develop advanced information solutions designed to help businesses globally gather customer feedback in an increasingly Web-centric world."
