Nokia unveils its 2000 Sugar Bowl strategy with the largest college football program in history

Nokia Sugar Bowl 2000, the Road to #1 program and ABC to connect fans to National Championship throughout the season
(September 8, 1999) - Since Tulane defeated Temple 20-14 in the inaugural game on January 1,1935, the Sugar Bowl has excited and hosted some of the most memorable games in college football history. In honor of the defending 1999 National Champions, the University of Tennessee Volunteers and college football fans, the Nokia Sugar Bowl chose Knoxville, Tenn to kick-off the "On the Road to #1" national college football fan program.
Before hundreds of fans, they unveiled the first of four, fully equipped, state-of-the-art Nokia Fan Recreational Vehicles (RVs) that will offer consumers the ultimate tailgating experience.
