Nokia and TeamLog supply software solution to French bank group

Nokia Multimedia Terminals is announcing a deal with software company TeamLog to supply an independent software solution to French bank group Caisse d'Epargne. This is the first time such an agreement has been made with a third-party company.
The joint development includes software components and tools for French bank group Caisse d'Epargne's interactive home banking services. Transmitted via digital satellite television, the interactive home banking services allow the bank's customers to handle a multitude of bank errands from home via their TV. The joint Nokia and TeamLog software solution was selected by the Caisse d'Epargne in fierce competition with major software consultancies.
Said Kent Lundberg, Software Products Manager at Nokia Multimedia Terminals: "This is the first time we supply an independent software product to a third-party company. It's a significant step in our strategy to establish Nokia as a leading supplier of software products for interactive services via digital television."
Nokia and TeamLog have been co-operating for more than three years in the development of software applications. Previous achievements include the development of software interfaces for the Nokia Mediamaster 9600 and 9800.
