Nokia Internet Firewall solutions chosen by UUNET, Germany

UUNET Deutschland GmbH has concluded a contract with Nokia for all countries within the European Union. By incorporating Nokia's integrated Firewall Routers and Virtual Private Network (VPN) Firewall Routers, UUNET has enhanced its programme with a wide range of high-performance Firewall solutions, which are to play a decisive role in expanding UUprotect and UUvpn services.
Within the framework of the distribution contract, Mr. Michael Heuer, Sales & Marketing Director of UUNET Deutschland GmbH stated, "The complete integration of Check Point Firewall-1 in a high-performance router, combined with Nokia's high-reliability concept means that a decisive step has been taken towards our aim to make the Internet so safe that it can also be used for critical commercial data communication applications. Therefore, Nokia's products play an important role in setting up our services UUprotect and UUvpn".
