More professional power with new Nokia handportable radios

Nokia announces three new handportable radios for MPT1327 trunked radio networks at the PT/ExpoComm '98 in Beijing, China. The Nokia radios represent a new way of professional mobile communication, characterized by an innovative design which guarantees a perfect usability of the radios in all situations.
The Nokia H80, H81 and H85 radios offer optimised solutions for differing communications needs of professional users at airports, industrial plants, service companies and companies involved in the production and delivery of oil, gas and water. Common to all three models are the compact cellular-type accessories including batteries up to 1850 mAh, charging devices for various purposes as well as a leather case with IP54 protection.
H80 for works management
The Nokia H80 is a compact-sized radio with a full set of call and data facilities. The alphanumeric keypad enables free dialing of subscriber numbers as well as data and status messages. With H80 Nokia introduces the advanced QuickSave function which lets the user store a new default number into the radio by one keystroke. To call the default number nothing else is needed except to press the PTT button. The H80 offers superior audio quality and 4 W output power to guarantee high quality connection.
H81 for field personnel
The Nokia H81 is a professional handportable radio for quick and efficient field communication even in harsh and noisy environments such as industrial plants. It offers perfect voice quality due to a powerful loudspeaker and with only few buttons, the H81 is extremely easy to use. The affordable H81 also includes the useful QuickSave feature for easy storing of a new number into the memory.
H85 for cellular-type PMR users
The ultimate in convenience, the compact Nokia H85 will appeal to the professional user who appreciates a stylish ergonomic design and full-duplex operation. The radio has a large alphanumeric display clearly showing dialled numbers, text information and a user menu. Ideal in weight, the H85 feels solid and comfortable in your hand.
