Nokia demonstrates its depth of digital expertise at Live'98
September 24, 1998

This September's Live '98, will be the launch-pad for the most important development in TV since the advent of colour - the launch of digital television, through an aerial.

Nokia - the world's leading digital technologies brand - reveals the Nokia Mediamaster 9850 T digital terrestrial receiver at Live 98, giving visitors the first opportunity to view the product that will form the cornerstone of the digital television revolution.

Britain will be the first country in the world to experience digital television, through an aerial, and Nokia's investment of up to 20% of net sales into research and development is set to pay dividends as it becomes one of the first to market later this year.

Nokia's digital expertise covers a wide range of areas:
* Digital television, through an aerial
* Digital satellite television
* Digital cable television
* Digital mobile phones
