Nokia K-shares converted to A-shares

CORRECTION OF PRESS RELEASE AUGUST 3, 1998
Nokia Corporation's Articles of Association provide holders of K-shares the right to convert their holdings to A-shares. For the entire period during which this conversion of shares has been permitted, through July 29, 1998, a total of 184,784,909 K-shares have been converted to A-shares. The total amount of Nokia's shares today is 602,006,812, of which 458,005,593 are A-shares.
