Nokia 400Xa display available in March
March 19, 1998

Nokia launches a new 400Xa flat panel display with an optimal resolution of 1024 x 768 that combines the latest liquid crystal display technology with Nokia's product development expertise. The Nokia 400Xa is a 14,1-inch LCD display with sleek design, small footprint and high image quality.

Based on Super-TFT technology the new Nokia offers high picture-quality including typical 200:1 contrast ratio and a wide viewing angle of 160 degrees horizontal and vertical. The 400Xa has no flicker, no distortion and supports up to 16.7 million colours.

Other key features of the Nokia 400Xa are integrated microphone, built-in speakers with stereo sound as well as separate power, audio volume and brightness controls. Additional picture adjustments are carried out via select and adjust buttons including on-screen menu with adjustment bars and guiding operation.

The Automatic Adjustment feature eliminates the need for initial set-up adjustments. With one push of the menu button, you can choose to automatically optimise size and positioning of the screen image.

The 400Xa consumes only 40 watts of electricity - maximizing power efficiency. The product also complies with all applicable emission standards, including TCO'95. Nokia grants the 400Xa a three-year warranty.

Two accessories, namely a wall mount and a tilt swivel wall mount bracket, are available for the 400Xa.
