Nokia and Diamond Lane Communications join up for Broadband Future

To strengthen its position in the emerging broadband access market, Nokia Telecommunications, the infrastructure arm of Nokia, has signed a cooperation agreement with Diamond Lane Communications Corporation, US. This agreement gives Nokia global distribution rights to Diamond Lane products as well as OEM and manufacturing rights. It also covers the development of future DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) products targeted to the ETSI markets.
Nokia has also made an equity investment in Diamond Lane Communications as part of the agreement.
