Nokia and Brightpoint strengthen China alliance

New agreement strengthens alliance for Nokia & Brightpoint for distribution of phones and accessories in China
Nokia today announced the extension of its current agreement with Brightpoint, an authorised distributor of Nokia, to distribute cellular phones and accessories in China.
The new agreement which extends the strategic alliance between Nokia and Brightpoint through 1999, covers distribution throughout China. This new agreement marks both Nokia and Brightpoint's continued efforts to respond to the market's tremendous growth.
