Nokia Launches a New Powerful GSM Car Phone

Nokia today introduced a new GSM car phone - the Nokia 6081 - which has been designed to comply with the needs of highly demanding car phone users. With its powerful 8W transceiver, the Nokia 6081 provides the best possible signal and clear reception within the network coverage. The Nokia 6081 has full mobile data communication capabilities, such as sending and receiving short messages and connection to a notebook PC for sending and receiving faxes, files, and email. The elegant and ergonomic Nokia design, together with many special features, convenient and easy to use in a vehicle environment. The product is now available in GSM markets.
Like its predecessor the Nokia 6080, the Nokia 6081 has been optimally designed for easy installation in the DIN slot of the car. The SIM card can be easily inserted, thus allowing a flexible user swap. Changing of the SIM card can be made even easier with an external SIM card reader, which is available as an accessory.
