Nokia Will Publish Its 1996 Results on February 13 at appr. 1 p.m. Finnish Time

HELSINKI, Finland --Nokia Group, which will publish its 1996 Financial Results on Thursday, February 13, 1997, is pleased to invite members of the Finnish and international media to attend a press conference with Nokia President and CEO Jorma Ollila at company headquarters, Eteläesplanadi 12, Helsinki, at 1.30 p.m. local time at the 13th.
The press conference, which will be conducted in English to accommodate electronic media broadcast links, will follow the release of the complete text of the results report which is expected at approximately 1 p.m. Mr. Ollila will present a summary of the 1996 results with a commentary on the company's progress to date. Mr. Ollila will also respond to questions which may be asked in Finnish, Swedish as well as English.
Nokia will announce results for the first quarter of 1997 (January-March) on April 29, 1997. Second quarter results will be incorporated into the 1997 first half report (January-June) due August 4, 1997. Third quarter results will be included in the January-September 1997 results report to be released October 30, 1996.
