Lauri Kivinen to Head Nokia's Corporate Communications

Mr. Lauri Kivinen, M.Sc. (Economics) has been appointed Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications in Nokia Group as of March 1st, 1997. Mr. Kivinen will succeed Mr. Seppo Härkönen, M.Sc. (Pol. Science), who has been appointed President of Finland's Trade Promotion Organization, the Finnish Foreign Trade Association.
Mr. Kivinen, 35, who has worked for Nokia in different positions since 1988, is currently Vice President, Communications at Nokia Mobile Phones. In his new position, his responsibilities will cover Nokia's corporate communications, especially corporate image and media relations. He will report to Mr. Jorma Ollila, President and CEO of Nokia Group.
