Nokia and Mobileware Corporation Announce Agreement

Companies to work together to promote wireless data applications
Nokia, Europe’s largest manufacturer of mobile phones, and MobileWare Corporation, the technology leader in remote networking solutions, today announced they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to participate in joint sales and marketing activities for MobileWare® software and wireless data products from Nokia’s Wireless Data Group.
MobileWare software allows mobile users to send and receive e-mail messages and faxes, print documents and transfer files to and from the LAN. The MobileWare remote client/server system supports all popular wired and wireless communication environments including CDPD and circuit-switched cellular. Combined with Nokia’s PCS Data Card, Nokia 2190 phone and a laptop, small to medium sized businesses can implement an in-house PC to PC e-mail system or a low cost server system.
