Nokia Mobile Phones introduces a new phone for the NMT 450 standard. The Nokia 450 is a small and lightweight analogue phone with new features and long operating times. It will be available in Europe starting from March 1996.

The Nokia 450 is ideally suited to people who need more than a phone with the basic functions. Weighing only 250 grams with a standard battery, the Nokia 450 is the smallest and lightest in its class.

The optional 7 Watt booster offers the widest coverage area enabling high mobility. Due to its capability to search for the best base station in a weak field, the Nokia 450 is the most reliable tool for uninterrupted mobile communications anywhere in the network.

The advanced power management system allows optimized power consumption. The Nokia 450 offers up to 3 hours and 30 minutes of talk time and over 4 days (111 hours) of standby with the extended battery.
