Change in Nokia Group Executive Board
February 28, 1996
As of January 1, 1996, Nokia Consumer Electronics has been divided into three independent divisions, which report to the President of Nokia General Communications Products.
Hannu Bergholm, who has served as President of Nokia Consumer Electronics, is moving from that position to special Nokia Group assignments. He will be based in Düsseldorf. The Nokia Group Executive Board today has accepted Mr Bergholm's resignation from the Board.
The Nokia Group Executive Board now consists of Group President and CEO Jorma Ollila (executive board chairman); Dr. Matti Alahuhta, President of Nokia Telecommunications; Pekka Ala-Pietilä, President of Nokia Mobile Phones; Sari Baldauf, President of Nokia Telecommunications, Cellular Systems; Tapio Hintikka, President of Nokia General Communications Products; Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, Executive Vice President; Dr. Yrjö Neuvo, Senior Vice President; Veli Sundbäck, Executive Vice President.
