Nokia and ADC to develop integrated solutions

ADC Telecommunications, Inc. and Nokia Telecommunications announced that they have signed a preliminary agreement to jointly develop product solutions for the global cable TV and telecommunications markets.
These solutions will be based on ADC's Homeworx TM hybrid fiber/coax access platform and Nokia's ACM-2 access products. The agreement includes reciprocal marketing arrangements between Nokia and ADC, and the companies also intend to jointly develop a next-generation broadband platform solutions. A definitive agreement is expected to be signed within a few weeks. The combined resources of Nokia and ADC will enhance the globalization of the Homeworx platform as an integrated voice, data and video solution.
