Nokia forms a telecommunications business unit in Canada

In preparation for the Canadian PCS market, Nokia has establishes a sales and marketing unit for telecommunications infrastructure equipment in Ajax, Ontario.
Ken Bond has been appointed Director of Business Development covering both Nokia's infrastructure and terminal business.
Nokia has a strong reputation in Canada as a leading mobile communications company. The new telecommunications infrastructure unit strengthens Nokia's position to meet the needs of Canadian PCS operators. In cooperation with the Nokia Mobile Phones unit, the company can offer complete solutions including infrastructure and subscriber equipment.
