Nokia extends the Turkish NMT network
Today, the Turkish NMT network has more than 100,000 subscribers and covers all the cities and 90% of the main roads. With this extension, the coverage and the capacity of the network will be improved.
Nokia Telecommunications deliveries to Turkey began in 1986 and Nokia has extended the Turkish network during 1986 - 1995. Nokia Mobile Phones has been supplying mobile phones to the network since its opening in 1986.
